Sexual harassment inquiry proceedings can be a grueling process for everyone involved not limited to the person who’s a victim of sexual harassment. The person named in the complaint, the witnesses and even members of the Internal Committee can experience poor mental health at such times. The law provides that, in case of proven sexual harassment, compensation may be awarded to the victim to cover costs of medical expenses.
We invite you to join us for a conversation on Sexual Harassment at Work and Mental Health in association with the Indian Lawyers Association. We’ll be talking about interim reliefs and recommended actions such counselling and rehabilitation. We’ll also be talking about how we can maintain safe spaces and healthy boundaries in our IC review meetings.
